矿工需要激励才会愿意去挖矿。由于门罗币的动态区块尺寸设计，@矿工之间的竞争将导致手续费下降。如果如果挖矿的成本高、报酬却低，这将使挖矿这件事变得无利可图，矿工就会因此失去动力而停止挖矿，由此会导致门罗币网络的安全性降低。
